Jurgen Klopp would be behind Liverpool interest in 24 year old

Image
AC Milan star Ismaël Bennacer has his eyes on Liverpool as the Italian champions work on securing his long-term future. That’s according to TuttoMercatoWeb, who mention the Reds in their report that focuses on the 24-year-old’s renewal. The Algeria international has over 18 months left on his contract and negotiations for his renewal will soon come to life. The Rossoneri have offered him a deal worth €3m net per year, but this isn’t enough as the midfielder is demanding over €4m annually plus bonuses. Despite the difference,  the ‘sensations are positive’ and the former Arsenal man seems to be open to signing a new deal at the San Siro. TMW somehow doubt this. They state that if this were to be true, Bennacer will not be ‘keeping an eye’ on Liverpool,  where their manager, Jurgen Klopp, is a ‘great admirer’ of the player. Over at Calciomercato, they say Enzo Raiola is the Algerian’s new agent and will take care of his renewal with the Serie A winners.  They also ta...

Liverpool planning shock move for €20m rated Serie A midfielder

Serie A giants, Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot has responded to rumours linking him with a switch away from Turin amid interest from a number of Europe’s biggest teams. Rabiot looked set to join Manchester United in the summer, before the move allegedly broke down following to the player’s wage demands. As a result, the Frenchman stayed with Juventus, where he has played a vital role this term,  scoring five goals and providing two assists in 16 games. Despite being a prominent figure in Massimiliano Allegri’s side, Rabiot’s future in Turin appears to be uncertain,  with his contract set to end at the end of the current campaign. While a new deal is yet to be agreed, French midfielder is attracting interest from several clubs across Europe, including Liverpool, Chelsea and Real Madrid. A recent report also claimed that Premier League leaders Arsenal are also considering whether to join the race for the 27-year-old midfielder. In response to the speculation, Rabiot to...

Liverpool seriously impressed by £30m player at the World Cup, Klopp says he’s ‘incredible’

Image
As per the report, the Reds were already aware of the 22-year-old’s talent before he featured out in Qatar. However, having started just five league games for Ajax this season,  the tournament has given Jurgen Klopp’s scouting department time to monitor his progress more closely. As a result, it is believed the youngster has really impressed Liverpool whilst playing for Ghana. Having been used as more of an attacking midfielder, the Merseyside outfit believe Kudus could make the transition to English football. From the Premier League, Arsenal, Everton, Newcastle and Tottenham are touted with interest, whilst Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain, Lyon, Napoli and Atletico Madrid have all been alerted to his progress. This isn’t the first time the Anfield outfit have been left impressed by the Ghanaian. During a sensational run of form, Kudus scored in three consecutive Champions League matches earlier this term.  One of these came against Liverpool, with a thunderous f...

Liverpool enter the battle to sign €30m-rated French centre-forward

Image
Marcus Thuram is on the radar of Liverpool. The Merseyside club are looking to add more quality and depth to their side by signing the 25-year-old centre-forward.  Marcus will be out of the deal at the end of this campaign, and Bayern Munich are keeping tabs on him as well. The Bundesliga giants want to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham,  and Thuram is an alternative if they fail to land the English centre-forward. France international has been in fantastic form this campaign,  and he has 13 goals to his name across all tournaments. Furthermore, the French centre-forward is capable of playing as a wide forward as well.  Jurgen Klopp could certainly use someone like him in the final third. Currently,  Salah is the only reliable goalscorer at Anfield. Nunez has done reasonably well since joining the club, but he will need time to adapt before he can hit top form. Apart from his goalscoring ability, the Frenchman’s versatility will be an asset for Liverpool’s n...

Liverpool in bidding war for €75m rated creative English attacker

Image
Liverpool are monitoring the situation of Mason Mount, who is entangled in deal talks with Chelsea. The 23-year-old attacker has been with the Blues since his youth days and has been one of the most promising prospects at Chelsea. Mason is deemed as one of the most prized assets of the Blues, and new owner Todd Boehly is pretty determined to bind him to a new deal.  Mount is currently with the England national team in Qatar and is participating in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. England international is tipped to be a central figure for Chelsea in near future. But the Englishman is not satisfied with the deal offer tabled by the Blues.  Substantial adjustments need to be done as the English playmaker wants to feel important from the monetary aspect. Mount also wants to wait to see how the London club progresses this campaign. Talks are expected to take place after the World Cup, and Liverpool are keeping their options open.  The German coach is impressed with Mason’s tact...

Verbal agreement’: Journalist has update on midfielder Liverpool trying to sign

Image
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Graham Potter’s Chelsea are interested in signing RB Leipzig midfielder Konrad Laimer,  but it seems that he is set to move to Bayern Munich next summer instead. It was only on November 25 when SkySport journalist Florian Plettenberg reported on Twitter that Liverpool and Chelsea are interested in signing Laimer. The well-known and well-respected journalist claimed that the 25-year-old Austria international midfielder was leaning towards a switch to defending German champions Bayern,  but Liverpool and Chelsea were still in the race for his signature. However, Plettenberg is now reporting on Twitter that the former RB Salzburg star has reached a verbal agreement with Bayern. According to the journalist, the midfielder will move to Bayern on a free transfer in the summer of 2023 when his current contract with Leipzig runs out. Laimer will sign a long-term contract with the former UEFA Champions League winners, according to Plettenberg. This w...

Jurgen Klopp ‘wouldn’t mind’bringing £500k a week star to Liverpool

Image
There has been alot said about the future of Ronaldo over the past few weeks and whether or not he will be a player that rocks up at Chelsea in the January window. It is no secret that Ted Boehly would like to get a deal done and it is no secret that he would be interested in a move – as he wants to add a statement signing to the squad. Ronaldo wants Champions League football that he wants but his options are limited to just 16 teams – though only a handful of them will be interested in signing him. Now – According to Diario AS (via Sport Witness), Klopp would not mind signing Ronaldo for a couple of months. Despite the fact that Liverpool have a world class attack – Darwin Nunez has not hit the ground running at Anfield and has struggled to make the impact that many had hoped – so it is claimed that Klopp would min adding an impact player like Ronaldo to the squad. Gary Neville claimed that Ronaldo will get a move to a Champions League side and will score goals ‘I think Cristian...

Liverpool with massive interest in signing £70million PL star

Image
Liverpool’s top midfield target is Jude Bellingham, but reports indicate that the club is also keen on signing Declan Rice. According to a recent exclusive story by Football Insider, Liverpool is very interested in the West Ham star,  who refused to sign a lucrative extension last summer. Rice is primarily a defensive midfielder, a position that is currently held by Brazilian international Fabinho at Anfield. Under Klopp, the Samba star has excelled in the No. 6 role over the years.  However, he has been one of our worst players this season. Both Bellingham and Rice are expected to move to new clubs next year, according to today’s edition of The Telegraph (news image provided below). According to a reputable British news source, the 19-year-old Dortmund boy could cost more than £100 million,  while the Hammers could sell their prized asset for £70 million.

Liverpool keep a close eye on 24-year-old Uruguay international midfielder

Image
Liverpool needed a quality midfielder last summer and they made a big move late in the transfer window. Liverpool offered £100m to hire the services of Federico Valverde but Real Madrid opted to hold onto him.  More recently, reports in the media suggest that the Reds are preparing a crazy offer to finally add the 24-year-old midfielder. The Merseyside club are willing to submit an offer worth £132m to add Valverde, who has been fantastic for the Los Blancos.  The media outlet claims La Liga club are still not interested in offloading Federico but the above mentioned offer would be impossible to turn down. Such a massive sale would help them attain funds to lure Jude Bellingham and may stop Liverpool from pursuing the English midfielder.  As far as the player’s preference is concerned, it is reported that Uruguay international, who has a long-term deal at Real Madrid,  has no intention of leaving the Spanish club anytime soon. The Uruguayan is a versatile midf...

Liverpool keen on to sign talented MLS creative midfielder

Image
Liverpool and Chelsea have reportedly identified Chicago Fire starlet Jhon Duran as a potential transfer target for January. The two Premier League giants, both under American ownership, have endured mixed starts to the current campaign after previously being tipped to challenge Man City for the Premier League title. That will, theoretically, lead to it being more likely that first-team additions are made over the addition of prospects. Nevertheless, according to MLS insider Tom Bogert, both team are keeping close tabs on the development of Duran. Despite still being 18 years of age, the promising forward has already accumulated 73 first-team games for Envigado FC and Chicago Fire. The Colombia international’s most sustained impact has been at the latter since the start of 2022, Duran playing 26 games in MLS. In 13 starts and 13 substitute appearances, the promising forward has scored eight goals and provided five assists for one of the lowest-ranked teams in the division. Having...

Liverpool told they would be 'good partner' to sign €50m forward starring at World Cup

Image
The World Cup in Qatar was always bound to see Liverpool linked with potential new signings. One of them is Cody Gakpo, who is impressing with the Netherlands. The 23-year-old has already scored two goals for his country in the competition, and his form is likely to attract attention to his signature. The PSV Eindhoven forward has been linked with the likes of Manchester United and Leeds, as well as Liverpool, over the past few months. And if Gakpo’s form continues over the course of the World Cup, the Dutch club will have a lot of leeway in terms of negotiations. Liverpool will already know PSV’s sporting director relatively well. Marcel Brands took on the role earlier this year, after leaving his post as director of football at Everton last December. Given Gakpo has become PSV’s most high-profile player, interest in the player is likely to be high. In fact, speaking earlier this month Brands admitted that the club had already rejected bids from the Premier League. Brands also a...

Liverpool leading the race to sign 25yr old Belgian midfield maestro

Image
Real Madrid, Juventus and Liverpool are reportedly set to battle for the services of Leicester City playmaker Youri Tielemans. Belgium international midfielder faces an uncertain future at the King Power Stadium as he has less than year left on his current deal. A host of teams were rumoured with a move for Tielemans over the summer including the likes of Newcastle United, Arsenal and Man Utd, however, the Belgium international eventually stayed put with the Foxes. Tielemans refused to comment on his contract situation at King Power Stadium when questioned by reporters during the international break. “I’m not going to speak too much about my contract situation at the moment,” the midfielder told Sky Sports News. “I didn’t leave Leicester in the summer as I always said the project had to be the right one.  Just because things are getting worse now at Leicester doesn’t mean I should regret [staying].” Rumours over Tielemans’s future is still rife and a number of top teams are ...

Liverpool pushing for £70m midfielder who could see Fabinho exit

Image
Liverpool are among the clubs being linked with a move for West Ham midfielder, Declan Rice, who is set to be in demand next summer. Rice has long been courted by a number of Premier League clubs. His form for the Hammers has been nothing short of superb. Chelsea, as we all know, have long been linked with Rice, while reports recently have suggested Liverpool are also hoping to get themselves in the mix. Further to those reports, Goal’s Neil Jones has also suggested that Liverpool would need to lose Fabinho if they did move for Rice. However, if the Reds are to sacrifice the Brazilian midfielder to make room for Rice, then it comes with an element of risk. There is no doubting the talent of Declan Rice and how good he can be for anyone. He’d make Liverpool a better team and if they did sign him, Reds fans would be delighted. However, if the notion of losing Fabinho to make room for Rice is being considered, then Liverpool need to be careful. Fabinho has been an integral player fo...

Liverpool leading race to sign 20 year old Belgium international

Image
Liverpool should back out from their pursuit of Stade Rennais attacker Jeremy Doku due to his vast injury history.  The German manager would be looking for some signings in winter and Belgium international has emerged as one of his favourites. The Merseyside giants haven’t really replaced Mane’s goals as Salah hasn’t been near his destructive best.  Luis Diaz has been on the sidelines with a prolonged injury issue and Liverpool might have to add an attacking spark to revive their fortunes. Despite the arrival of Darwin Nunez, the Uruguayan centre-forward has visibly struggled to cope with the PL and hasn’t really justified his price tag. The Merseyside giants have a long-standing interest in Doku and this might be the best time to engage in a move. Jeremy hasn’t been used profusely this campaign and his valuation could further nosedive if he stays a peripheral figure.  Liverpool could use this situation to sweeten a move but Robin Brainer insisted the club should n...

Liverpool closely monitoring 23-year-old Netherlands international

Image
Liverpool coach Pep Lijnders is an avid admirer of Cody Gakpo and the Merseyside giants will try to get a deal done for him.  The Netherlands international has emerged as a potential target for several suitors and he might be the subject of some intense bids. The Reds have had some difficulties this campaign as the likes of Salah haven’t hit the kind of prolific form he has been showing in the last few campaigns.  Several uncharacteristic losses coincided with the injury of Luis Diaz who started the campaign on a bright note. The Colombian winger got an untimed injury and is currently on the sidelines for a prolonged period. Cody has lit up the Eredivisie with his free goal-scoring form while he has also been helping his teammates in setting up goals. Gakpo has already been involved in 30 goal contributions in 23 games in all tournaments and even a certain Erling Haaland cannot match his form. The Dutchman is poised to be the Netherlands’ focal point of attack as the fo...

Liverpool in pole position to sign€40m-rated Croatian midfielder

Image
Liverpool want to add Marcelo Brozovic in the 2023 summer transfer window.  The 29-year-old midfielder is also a target for Man United over a potential move at the end of the ongoing campaign.  Brozovic has firmly established himself as one of the best players in Italy, and he was a crucial figure for Inter Milan when they won the Scudetto. Marcelo has recently signed a contract extension with the Nerazzurri which will keep him at San Siro until the summer of 2026.  However, Serie A giants are under financial pressure, and they would be keen on selling Croatia international for the right price. It is no secret that the Reds need to bring in midfield reinforcements, and the Croatian midfielder could prove to be a quality acquisition.  The likes of Thiago and Keita have had their fair share of injury problems, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has spent most of his Liverpool career on the sidelines. On the other hand, the likes of Henderson and Milner are not getting ...

Liverpool planning shock move for No.7 Ligue 1 centre-forward

Image
Liverpool and Man United are currently vying for the services of Kylian Mbappe after Real Madrid decided to move on from the centre-forward.  France international was strongly linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer transfer window. But Mbappe chose to snub the Los Blancos and signed a deal extension with PSG. However, things have not gone according to plan for Kylian, and he wants to leave the Parisians in winter.  However, it is fair to assume that PSG will not let the 23-year-old centre-forward leave midway through the campaign. So any move would have to wait until the summer transfer window for Liverpool and Man United.  The Reds have been linked with the French centre-forward for years, and it will be interesting to see if the German manager can pull off the transfer in the coming months. Liverpool will have to shatter their transfer record in order to land the Frenchman. And it stays to be seen whether Fenway Sports Group are willing to back...

Liverpool have Virgil van Dijk succession plan as '£26m-rated' Italian wonderkid lined up

Image
Liverpool may already be eyeing up Virgil van Dijk's long-term successor amid reports that they are among a host of top clubs monitoring Giorgio Scalvini. The size of the Atalanta youngster's growing reputation means he's likely to cost a pretty penny, with the Italian outfit supposedly looking to offload next summer.  Scalvini has been part of Atalanta's youth set-up since a young schoolboy and he broke through into the first team last season, making his debut at 17. His tender age is particularly shocking considering he plays at centre-back, which usually requires physicality and experience.  The 18-year-old is a fixture of Gian Piero Gasperini's team this campaign and top sides around the continent are taking note. Scalvini could have strutted his stuff at the World Cup this year with three senior Italy caps already to his name, but Roberto Mancini's side failed to make the tournament. According to CalcioMercato, Liverpool are among a six-strong chasing pac...

Liverpool willing to pay £129million asking fee to sign star

Image
Liverpool need a major overhaul in the center of the park and their priority is to sign Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund, Earlier this month, Football Insider revealed that the Reds are favorites to lure the England international and are working to break their transfer record to bring him to Anfield.  (news image provided below) has covered an interesting story and stated that Bellingham is the most sought after midfielder in the world and the richest clubs want him. The news source have mentioned that Liverpool are willing to pay £129million (150 million euros), i.e. the asking fee set by Dortmund, to sign the 19-year-old. It is reported that Real Madrid have been after the teenage sensation for a long time and now,  Manchester City have also joined the race to secure his signature. In the current campaign, the former Birmingham City midfielder has already directly contributed in 12 goals in all competitions for the Signal Iduna Park outfit. At the World Cup, the...

Liverpool could sign Barcelona star midfielder for €80 million

Image
According to a report from Spanish outlet Fichajes, Liverpool are looking to sign Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona at the end of the season. And the Reds will have to pay a fee of around €80 million to land the Dutch international. The 25-year-old was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United during the summer transfer window. But de Jong decided to continue at Barcelona and snub a move to Old Trafford. The Red Devils are still interested in the Dutch midfielder. It appears that Jurgen Klopp is an admirer of the Dutch midfielder, and he is looking to add more technique and craft to his midfield.  De Jong is an excellent passer of the ball and will help Liverpool break the lines with his incisive passing. Furthermore, the Dutchman has a relentless work ethic and will contribute defensively as well. The Barcelona midfielder has the ability to drive the team forward and could be the ideal partner for Thiago Alcantara and Fabinho.  The likes of Jordan Henderson and Jame...

Liverpool could sign defender ‘worth £51m’ on free transfer as ideal Joël Matip succession plan

Image
According to rumors, this particular niche trivia question may have two possible answers in the future.  The Reds, along with the other six Premier League clubs,  have been linked with a move for Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar. 90Min recently reported that he has yet to agree on a contract extension for his deal,  which expires next summer.  Inter will not want to lose their sixth most valuable player in Serie A (according to Transfermarkt).  His current contract expires at the end of the season, so his appeal is bound to be strong,  though whether genuine interest from Liverpool emerges remains to be seen.  One area of the team where they are well covered is at centre-back. Jol Matip’s contract is valid until the end of the season.  Virgil van Dijk is under contract until the end of 2024/25,  Ibrahima Konaté until th...
