Alan Shearer issues bitter response for Fabio carvalho's 98+' winner against Newcastle

Image
After seeing several of Newcastle United’s on-pitch contingent actively time wasting throughout their encounter with Liverpool in the English top-flight, Reds fans could be forgiven for feeling the result more than justified the lack of sportsmanship shown by their opponents. Commenting on the matter after the game, Alan Shearer took to Twitter to express his disgruntlement at Andre Marriner’s supposed failure to blow the whistle within the five-minute limit of added time. " 5' injury time scored at 98th min"

Jurgen klopp verdict on Newcastle fight back-Carvalho and Elliot

Jürgen Klopp explained the boost that Liverpool's last-minute win over Newcastle United will provide but underscored the need for ongoing improvement from his team. After trailing to Alexander Isak’s first-half goal at Anfield on Wednesday night the Reds secured three Premier League points in dramatic fashion. Roberto Firmino’s cool finish brought Klopp’s men level and then substitute Fabio Carvalho smashed in the decisive goal for a 2-1 victory in the eighth minute of added time.

Jurgen klopp reveal Jordan Henderson injury concerned

Liverpool will need to assess the hamstring injury that forced Jordan Henderson from the field in Wednesday’s dramatic 2-1 victory over Newcastle United. The captain was withdrawn after 71 minutes at Anfield and Jürgen Klopp confirmed afterwards it was due to a fitness concern. Asked during his post-match press conference if the Reds were likely to conduct any business ahead of Thursday’s transfer deadline, the boss said: “I don't think so, but as long as there is time we should not close the door completely. “Obviously Hendo is injured, he got a hamstring [injury], which is absolutely not helpful. I don’t think so." He added: "[It was] that serious that he couldn’t carry on, so it was no tactical change."

Carvalho saved Liverpool with huge sensational goal

Fabio Carvalho praised Liverpool’s courage and resilience after netting an injury-time winner to give his side a dramatic 2-1 victory over Newcastle United. The No.28 fired into the roof of the net in the aftermath of a corner with 98 minutes on the clock, completing a come-from-behind win for the Reds at Anfield on Wednesday evening. Carvalho, who turned 20 the day before, felt the hosts' showing after falling behind in the first half was well worthy of taking all points on offer. Speaking to BT Sport post-match, the hero of the moment said: "I was just there in the right area and happily it felt for me. "Look at this! What else do you expect with these fans? They just kept us going. It's just amazing to be here. "To be fair, within our DNA we just keep going and we showed that today through the fans – they've helped us so much. I want to say a big thank you to them because without them this wouldn't be possible. "But we stuck to the ...

No coach has done more for African footballers than Jurgen klopp

Image
In the modren times, no coach has done more for African Football than Jurgen Klopp. Africa always had massive talent. Klopp made that talent the front and center of his Liverpool revolution and put it on the front seat of Football echelons. I have never seen two other African players with this level of following and influence. With Salah and Mane becoming household names around the world, the future African generations will now have inspiration and confidence that they too can make it. This is one of the most important things Klopp has done in his career, a game changer for this continent. At Southampton, Mane was fairly unknown. We all know what happened to his career at Liverpool. Mo Salah. Easily the best comeback story in Football this generation. Just magic. Aubameyang..went from unknown to world class at Dortmund. PL Golden Boot winner with a 5th place team. Matip..literally unheard of before Liverpool. Probably the best free agent signing of all time. Naby Keita..right n...

Good news for Liverpool fans as Jurgen klopp confirm Diogo Jota returned to training

Image
Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Diogo Jota will return to training on Thursday "I think Diogo can train from Thursday on and Thiago I think slightly later, so we will see. "Calvin [Ramsay] is getting closer, Caoimh [Kelleher] I saw now only walking outside going for normal goalkeeper training. So yeah, there’s light at the end of the tunnel, definitely."

Liverpool found replacement for sadio Mane

Image
Liverpool needed to replace the goals that Sadio Mané provided for Jürgen Klopp as part of the next phase of their evolution. One transfer deal has done just that. Luis Díaz has been a revelation since joining the club, and it looks as though a half-season during the 2021/22 campaign was all he needed to settle in to Klopp's side. Four goals in 13 Premier League matches last season provided a foundation for the Colombian winger to build on, and he has done just that this season, having already scored three from four matches. Díaz has, arguably, been Liverpool's best performer from the opening games. It was his wondergoal against Crystal Palace that rescued a draw after Darwin Núñez was dismissed, and the 25-year-old had the opening say as the Reds scored the first of nine against Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon. At his current rate, the former FC Porto star could soon establish himself as the best left-winger in the league — a title Sadio Mané had often made a case for. ...
